This study examines the potential of Building-Integrated Photovoltaic (BIPV) and Thermal Energy Storage (TES) systems to achieve building decarbonization targets using a Life Cycle Assessment approach. The results show that applying a coupled BIPV-TES system in a residential building can significantly reduce CO2 emissions over its service life.
