Mechanistic Insight into Polypyrrole Coating on V2O5 Cathode for Aqueous Zinc-Ion Battery

Dual intercalation of inorganics-organics for synergistically tuning the layer spacing of V2O5•nH2O to boost Zn2+ storage for aqueous zinc-ion batteries

Additionally, the co-intercalation of PANI and Mg2+ improved the conductivity and stability of the material. First-principles calculations further revealed the structural changes and improved electrochemical performance of the vanadium oxides.
