Synthesis and characterization of immobilized titanium-zirconium Sn-doped oxides onto metallic meshes and their photocatalytic activity for erythromycin mineralization

Summary: The improvement of TiO2 photocatalytic properties by doping with Sn, a non-critical raw material, was evaluated. Different Sn sources and incorporation methods influenced the coating properties and catalytic activity. The formation of a Ti-Sn-O solid solution reduced the recombination of electron-hole pairs, enhancing the photocatalytic degradation efficiency.
