The corrosion behavior of (FeCrCoNi)100_xTix alloy in NaCl and H2SO4 was studied. It was found that the passive corrosion current density decreases with the increase of Ti content. XPS analysis revealed that the passive film has a double-layer structure, with the outer TiO2 and inner Cr2O3 playing important roles in the corrosion resistance of the alloy.
A (FeCrCoNi)100_xTix system was designed and prepared, and the corrosion behavior of the alloy in NaCl and H2SO4 was studied. Potentiodynamic polarization curves and EIS tests show that the passive corrosion current density decreases with the increase of Ti content. XPS analysis shows that the passive film has a double-layer structure, and the outer TiO2 of the passive film and the Cr2O3 of the inner layer play an important role in the corrosion resistance of the alloy. With increasing Ti content, the density of carriers in the passivation film decreases, and the alloy passivation film is denser and has better protection performance.
