Early classification of motor tasks using dynamic functional connectivity graphs from EEG

Foroogh Shamsi et al.

Summary: This paper presents a novel feature extraction method for EEG recordings, based on dynamic functional connectivity graphs, that achieves accurate classification of motor tasks within a short interval using a long short term memory classifier. Results show an average accuracy of 85.32% about only 500 ms after stimulus presentation, indicating significant implications for improving the effectiveness and speed of BCIs.

Temporal-Spatio Graph Based Spectrum Analysis for Bearing Fault Detection and Diagnosis

Teng Wang et al.

Summary: The article proposes a bearing fault detection and diagnosis technique based on temporal-spatio graph, which monitors the health condition of bearings by studying the correlation information in spatial configuration and temporal dynamic of frequencies. The method demonstrates superiority over existing techniques in experiments, providing a significant extension of existing spectrum analysis.

Phase/Amplitude Synchronization of Brain Signals During Motor Imagery BCI Tasks

Tiziana Cattai et al.

Summary: By studying the brain signals of 20 healthy subjects during a motor imagery task, it was found that spectral coherence and imaginary coherence exhibited different changes in network features, further demonstrating that this opposite behavior was caused by an increase in amplitude and phase synchronization between brain signals.
