A model for estimating the carbon footprint of maritime transportation of Liquefied Natural Gas under uncertainty

Saleh Aseel et al.

Summary: The demand for LNG has changed significantly, leading industries to invest in supply chains for efficient distribution and carbon footprint reduction. A novel model was developed to estimate the carbon footprint of LNG maritime transport, finding steam process days and fuel consumption to be the most sensitive parameters, with Q-Max vessels producing more emissions compared to Q-Flex.
