Nanoarchitecture and surface engineering strategy for the construction of 3D hierarchical CuS-rGO/g-C3N4 nanostructure: An ultrasensitive and highly selective electrochemical sensor for the detection of furazolidone drug

Summary: A robust ternary heterogeneous electrocatalyst, graphene-based CuS spheres decorated on an exfoliated g-C3N4 sheet, has been developed for the detection of furazolidone (FZ). The electrochemical sensor exhibits good selectivity, reproducibility, and stability towards FZ detection. The CuS-rGO/g-C3N4 composite shows promising potential as a graphene-based material platform for electrochemical determination of FZ.

Ultrasensitive electrochemical detection of furazolidone in biological samples using 1D-2D BiVO4@MoS2 hierarchical nano-heterojunction composites armed electrodes

Summary: In this study, a novel electrocatalyst for electrochemical sensing of Furazolidone (FZE) drug was developed using hydrothermally synthesized BiVO4@MoS2 hierarchical nano-heterojunction composite. The unique composite exhibited excellent electrocatalytic activity in sensing FZE with superior linear detection ranges and a limit of detection far superior to other reported sensors. The BiVO4@MoS2 based sensor is recommended for analyzing real-time samples like human urine and blood serum with appreciable recovery.

Synthesis of transition metal titanium oxide (MTiOx, M = Mn, Fe, Cu) and its application in furazolidone electrochemical sensor

Summary: The precise determination of Furazolidone on biological, food, and water samples is of great importance for regulating health and nutrition, diagnosis/treatment, pharmacological research, and food/drug quality monitoring. In this study, Metal Titanate (MTiOx, M = Mn, Fe, Cu) was constructed as an electrode modifier for the sensitive and accurate determination of Furazolidone. Among them, MnTiO3 showed excellent electrochemical characteristics and was successfully employed in the practical feasibility analysis of different real samples.

Highly sensitive electrochemical determination of rutin based on the synergistic effect of 3D porous carbon and cobalt tungstate nanosheets

The sensor utilized 3D CoWO4 nanosheets and porous carbon (PC) as electrode modifiers, which synergistically improved the stability and sensitivity of rutin detection. Facile hydrothermal synthesis of nickel tungstate (NiWO4) nanostructures with pronounced supercapacitor and electrochemical sensing activities

Asymmetrical zinc(II) phthalocyanines cobalt tungstate nanomaterial conjugates for photodegradation of methylene blue

Summary: This study presented the syntheses of three asymmetrical zinc(II) phthalocyanine (ZnPc) complexes and the hydrothermal synthesis of cobalt tungstate nanoparticles. It was found that covalently linking ZnPc derivatives to cobalt tungstate nanoparticles increased the triplet quantum yield and singlet oxygen quantum yield. Additionally, the nanoconjugates showed higher photocatalytic efficiency for the degradation of methylene blue compared to the ZnPc complexes.
