Differences in visio-spatial expertise between 1st division rugby players and non-athletes

Lourens Millard et al.

Summary: The study aimed to compare the visual expertise of non-athletes to amateur South-African Rugby Union first-division players. Results indicated that rugby players performed significantly better in most visio-spatial intelligence components except for visual memory. This suggests the need for more sport-specific testing methods to distinguish between athletes and non-athletes accurately.
