Summary: This study investigates the utilization of petrochemical and domestic wastewater for dual biogas and biochar production. The results show that increasing the fraction of domestic wastewater in the feed encourages the conversion of chemical oxygen demand into more biogas and sludge amounts. The produced biochar has suitable properties and composition. The economic feasibility of treating wastewater is determined, and blending petrochemical and domestic wastewater is found to be the most feasible scenario with significant economic benefits.
