Structural parameters, energy states and magnetic properties of the novel Se-doped NiFe2O4 ferrites as highly efficient electrocatalysts for HER

Muhammad Hassan et al.

Summary: This study focuses on the production and investigation of NiFe2O4 spinel ferrite nanoparticles doped with different masses of Se. The results show that the chemical content of Se has an impact on the crystal structure, microstructure, and magnetic properties. Superparamagnetic and ferrimagnetic states are observed in a wide magnetic field range. The magnetic characteristics do not change significantly when Se-substitution is less than 2.0%. However, a nonlinear dependence of magnetic parameters is observed for samples with Se-substitution greater than or equal to 2.0%. The undoped sample and NiFe2O4+x%Se exhibit soft magnetic behavior.

Magnetoelectric coupling in Sm substituted 0.67BiFeO3-0.33BaTiO3 ceramics

Jing Wen Liang et al.

Summary: The effects of Sm substitution on the structure, dielectric, and multiferroic properties of 0.67BiFeO(3)-0.33BaTiO(3) ceramics were investigated. With increasing Sm substitution, changes in the structure, enhanced relaxor behavior, and significant magnetoelectric coupling were observed.

Transformation of BiFeO3 magnetic properties by Eu doping: magnetometry and Mossbauer studies

A. L. Zinnatullin et al.

Summary: This study reports the effect of doping with europium ions on the magnetic properties of bismuth ferrite. Through various methods, the researchers gained a deeper understanding of the mechanisms behind the changes in magnetic response caused by doping. It was found that within a certain doping range, the crystal structure parameters remained stable, but beyond that range, the crystal structure changed. Additionally, the magnetic properties were found to be correlated with the crystal structure.

Effect of Co content on magnetic features and SPIN states IN Ni-Zn spinel ferrites

D. P. Sherstyuk et al.

Summary: The effect of Co content on the magnetic properties of Ni-Zn ferrites is mainly reflected in the decrease of Curie temperature and the increase of Ms, Mr, and Hc. These changes are primarily due to the larger magnetic moment of the Co2+ ion, as well as the influence of the difference in ionic radii. The non-linear concentration dependence of magnetic characteristics is discussed in terms of Co2+ spin states.

Peculiar magnetism of Bi1-xDyxFeO3 ceramics at the morphotropic phase boundary

N. X. Ca et al.

Summary: Systematic studies on Bi1-xDyxFeO3 systems at the morphotropic phase boundary reveal structural evolution from R3c to Pnma as Dy concentration increases, with two distinct phonon vibrations in coexisting phases and weak ferromagnetism observed in a composition dominated by Pnma phase. Pinched hysteresis loop and decreasing magnetization with increasing Dy concentration are explained by metamagnetic transition of antiferromagnetic clusters and contribution of phase boundary spins.
