Summary: The study aimed to determine the differences in serum lipid concentrations between migraine patients and healthy controls. Results showed higher levels of LDL-C, TC, and TG in migraine patients compared to healthy controls, but no significant difference in HDL-C. Adjusting for confounding factors may affect the measured values.

However, no significant relationship between obesity and migraine was observed in American populations. Further high-quality research is needed to consider the frequency, severity, and duration of headaches in order to provide more confident evidence.
