Improvement on the Catalytic Performance of MoO3 Nanobelts for NH3-SCR Reaction by SnO2-Modification: Enhancement of Acidity and Redox Property

Summary: The study focused on the development of environmental benign catalysts for the selective catalytic reduction (SCR) of NOx. SnO2-modified MoO3 nanobelts were fabricated and applied in the SCR reaction of NO with NH3, showing superior catalytic performance at 10 wt% SnO2 loading. The modified SnO2 could significantly enhance the redox property and surface chemisorbed oxygen species of the catalysts, contributing to their good NH3-SCR catalytic performance.
