Process Optimization and Adsorptive Mechanism for Reactive Blue 19 Dye by Magnetic Crosslinked Chitosan/MgO/Fe3O4 Biocomposite

Summary: A new biocomposite adsorbent with magneto-responsiveness was prepared and applied for the removal of a synthetic textile dye. The adsorption parameters were optimized using statistical analysis, and the equilibrium dye uptake and kinetic behavior were studied. The maximum adsorption capacity of the adsorbent was determined, and its separation ability was highlighted. The magnetic adsorbent can be easily separated from the treated solution, making it suitable for industrial applications in continuous flow systems.

N-methylene phosphonic chitosan aerogels for efficient capture of Cu2+and Pb2+from aqueous environment

Glutaraldehyde-cross-linked chitosan-alginate composite for organic dyes removal from aqueous solutions
