Bioformulated Hesperidin-Loaded PLGA Nanoparticles Counteract the Mitochondrial-Mediated Intrinsic Apoptotic Pathway in Cancer Cells

Krithiga Balakrishnan et al.

Summary: In this study, polymer-based nanoparticles loaded with hesperidin were developed and characterized for their potential biomedical application in cancer treatment. The prepared nanoparticles showed promising characteristics for effectively repressing the growth of cancer cells in acidic conditions, suggesting their potential as potent anti-cancer candidates. Further research is needed to explore the toxicity and molecular mechanisms involved in the anti-cancer activity of the synthesized nanoparticles.
