Comparative Analysis of Compatibility Influence on Invigorating Blood Circulation for Combined Use of Panax Notoginseng Saponins and Aspirin Using Metabolomics Approach

Zongxi Sun et al.

Summary: The combined use of Panax notoginseng saponins (PNS) and aspirin (ASA) has shown superior efficacy in treating acute blood stasis, improving hemorheological indicators in rats. Untargeted metabolomics revealed that the combination therapy adjusts metabolites related to amino acid, lipid, and energy metabolism, bringing levels closer to normal than with single use. The findings support the scientific explanation for the effectiveness of PNS and ASA synergy in treating blood stasis.
