Introduction pathways of economically costly invasive alien species

By studying the economic impacts and pathways of IAS globally, we found that species introduced through different pathways have different costs, with unintentional introductions having higher costs. Although our study is limited by available data, these findings are important for prioritizing pathway measures and filling data gaps in the management of IAS.
