Chemical reconstruction of skin scars (CROSS) method for atrophic scars: A comprehensive review

Summary: The CROSS method is an effective and safe treatment for atrophic scars, especially for treating ice-pick scars. However, current published studies have limitations such as small sample sizes, lack of control groups, and variations in acid concentrations and treatment frequencies, necessitating larger randomized controlled trials to establish the optimal treatment protocol.
