Studies have shown that feeding shrimp multiple meals rather than the traditional 1 to 4 meals per day can lead to better growth and feed conversion. The adoption of automatic feeding systems in the shrimp industry allows for more feedings and greater flexibility in feeding times, with the on demand feeding protocol using passive acoustics showing the best performance for shrimp.
