The sensor exhibits enhanced sensitivity and broad response range within 23-95% RH compared to Co-MOF-based sensors. It shows great flexibility and humidity sensing properties, enabling multifunctional applications in real-time facial respiration monitoring, skin humidity perception, cosmetic moisturizing evaluation, and fruit freshness testing.

High performance humidity sensor based on 3D mesoporous Co3O4 hollow polyhedron for multifunctional applications

A Nb2CTx/sodium alginate-based composite film with neuron-like network for self-powered humidity sensing

Summary: In this study, a high-performance electronic humidity sensor and a sustainable voltage output moisture-triggered nanogenerator were developed using a composite film. Applications of the humidity sensor include respiration assessment, noncontact monitoring, and intelligent alarm. The integration of the sensor and a capacitor and LED resulted in a self-powered sensing system capable of indicating different relative humidity levels. This work not only presents the design and fabrication of a smart self-powered humidity sensing system, but also paves the way for the development of next-generation intelligent wearable electronics.

Laser-induced graphene via the far-infrared irradiation of polyimide films for flexible electric heater applications

Summary: This study explores the use of far-infrared irradiation on polyimide films to create ultraviolet-laser-induced graphene (ULIG) for flexible electric heaters. The research examines the microstructure, elemental composition, chemical states, surface morphology, and electrical properties of ULIG films. The results show that ULIG heaters with optimal processing parameters have excellent heating performance and flexibility.

Wearable humidity sensors based on bar-printed poly(ionic liquid) for real-time humidity monitoring systems

Two dimensional Zirconium diselenide based humidity sensor for flexible electronics

The sensor has a transient response time of 1-6 seconds for impedance and capacitance, making it suitable for various humidity sensing applications.
