The impact of hospital resources and environmental perturbations to the dynamics of SIRS model

Guijie Lan et al.

Summary: Incorporating environmental perturbations and resources, deterministic and stochastic SIRS models exhibit rich dynamics with possibilities of disease eradication or persistence. Deterministic models show possibilities of disease eradication or persistence, while stochastic models highlight the importance of randomness in disease persistence.

Dynamics of a stochastic rabies epidemic model with Markovian switching

Hao Peng et al.

Summary: In this paper, we analyzed a stochastic rabies epidemic model perturbed by white noise and telegraph noise. We proved the existence of a unique global positive solution, established a sufficient condition for the existence of a unique ergodic stationary distribution of positive solutions, and discussed sufficient conditions for disease extinction. Numerical simulations were used to illustrate the theoretical results.

Stochastic dynamics of the transmission of Dengue fever virus between mosquitoes and humans

Manjing Guo et al.

Summary: In this paper, a stochastic differential model describing the transmission of Dengue fever between mosquitoes and humans is proposed. The existence and uniqueness of a global positive solution for the model are proved using Lyapunov methods and Ito's formula. The sufficient conditions for the extinction and persistence of the disease in the mean are obtained, along with the discussion of the existence of a unique stationary distribution leading to the stochastic persistence of the disease.
