Spacial coordination between data centers and power system considering uncertainties of both source and load sides

Tao Niu et al.

Summary: This paper proposes a new decomposition method to solve the stochastic economic dispatch model incorporating DCs, which considers uncertainties in job arrival rates in DCs and wind generation in power systems. Using Benders decomposition and group-based multi-cut Benders decomposition improves computational performance and convergence, with case studies showing benefits of spatial coordination between DCs and power systems. Comparison between single-cut and multi-cut approaches proves the effectiveness of the proposed method.
