Au modified spindle-shaped cerium phosphate as an efficient co-reaction accelerator to amplify electrochemiluminescence signal of carbon quantum dots for ultrasensitive analysis of aflatoxin B1

Min Li et al.

Summary: In this study, a sandwich electrochemiluminescence immunosensor with a synergistic co-reaction acceleration strategy was developed for the ultra-sensitive detection of AFB1. By introducing CePO4@Au as a co-reaction accelerator, the ECL intensity of the detection system was significantly improved. Moreover, the use of Ag-modified BaTiO3 as a signal carrier enabled high precision quantitative detection of AFB1.

A novel GSH-capping MXene QD-based ECL biosensor for the detection of miRNA221 in triple-negative breast cancer tumor

Zhenrun Li et al.

Summary: In this study, a novel ECL biosensor for miRNA221 detection was developed based on glutathione-capped MXene-derived quantum dots and magnetic biomimic vesicles. The biosensor showed improved stability and luminescent properties as ECL emitter, and the combination of GSH and MXene reduced the defects in nanostructures. The magnetic biomimic vesicles enhanced the feasibility and sensitivity of the sensing platform. The proposed sensing strategy demonstrated great potential for clinical analysis.

Potential- and Color-Resolved Electrochemiluminescence of Polymer Dots for Array Imaging of Multiplex MicroRNAs

Ningning Wang et al.

Summary: The research focuses on developing electrochemiluminescence (ECL) emitters for ECL analysis, with the synthesis of luminol-doped polymer dots (L-Pdots) and diethylamine-coupled Pdots (N-Pdots) to design a potential- and color-resolved ECL strategy. A novel ECL array imaging method was constructed for high-throughput detection of two microRNAs (miRNAs) using L-Pdots and N-Pdots, achieving detection limits of 2.5 and 3.1 pM, respectively. This work introduces a new family member of potential- or color-resolved ECL emitters and successfully realizes the simultaneous and high-throughput sensing of multiplex miRNAs.
