Tolerance Factor for Stabilizing 3D Hybrid Halide Perovskitoids Using Linear Diammonium Cations

Xiaotong Li et al.

Summary: The research on three-dimensional halide perovskites is limited by the choice of A-site cations. In this work, four new three-dimensional bromide perovskitoids incorporating linear organic diammonium cations are reported. These compounds exhibit similar electronic band structures and dynamic lattice characteristics to regular three-dimensional perovskites. Structures with smaller Pb-Br-Pb angles and larger octahedra distortion show broad photoluminescence at room temperature.
