Contributions of piezoelectricity and triboelectricity to a hydroxyapatite/ PVDF-HFP fiber-film nanogenerator

Shengqian Wang et al.

Summary: In this study, PVDF-based piezoelectric nanogenerators (PENGs) were prepared by electrospinning and exhibited excellent generation performance. The addition of 25 wt% HAP into PVDF-HFP nanofiber films improved the generation performance from 0.2 V to 1.1 V. The contributions of triboelectricity and piezoelectricity were quantified, with triboelectricity accounting for 62.5% and piezoelectricity accounting for 37.5%. The synergistic effect of triboelectricity and piezoelectricity was revealed through UV photoelectron spectrum analysis. This study provides insights for enhancing the generation performance of PVDF fiber PENGs.
