Numerical Simulation of 30% Efficient Lead-Free Perovskite CsSnGeI3-Based Solar Cells

Hussein Sabbah

Summary: In this study, the lead-free CsSnGeI3 PSC was quantitatively analyzed using a solar cell capacitance simulator. The results showed that using SnO2 as the electron transport layer can significantly increase the PCE of the PSC. Furthermore, the defect density of the absorber layer was found to greatly affect the device efficiency.

Impact of HTM on lead-free perovskite solar cell with high efficiency

Aloke Kumar Das et al.

Summary: The Scaps-1d simulator was used to simulate lead-free perovskite CH3NH3SnI3 based solar cell devices with different hole transport materials (HTM). The results show that utilizing CuO as an HTM produces the best outcomes, with an efficiency of 28.45%. The thickness, acceptor concentration, and defect density of the perovskite layer are important factors affecting the optoelectronic properties of the solar cell.
