Effect of Regulatory Focus on Food Variety-Seeking Behavior of Chinese Tourists

Summary: This research examines the effect of regulatory focus on Chinese consumers' food variety-seeking behavior through three studies. The results show that prevention-focused consumers have lower intention to seek food variety and higher food neophobia. Psychological safety can decrease the negative influence of food neophobia on seeking food variety.
