Spin-excitation anisotropy in the nematic state of detwinned FeSe

Xingye Lu et al.

Summary: Through experiments using resonant inelastic X-ray scattering, it has been found that there is a significant anisotropy in high-energy spin excitations in FeSe, which decreases gradually with increasing temperature and vanishes at T-s. This indicates that the nematicity in FeSe is likely spin-driven.
