In vitro activity of isothiocyanates against Fusarium graminearum

Samina Ashiq et al.

Summary: This study evaluated the antifungal activity of five isothiocyanates against Fusarium graminearum, with aromatic isothiocyanates showing stronger inhibition on mycelial growth, while aliphatic isothiocyanates were more effective on conidial germination. Among the tested compounds, allyl and methyl isothiocyanates were the most efficient, demonstrating lower ED50 values for both conidial germination and mycelial radial growth.
