Radical Scavenging Activity of Antioxidants by Cyclic Voltammetry

Md Azizul Haque et al.

Summary: This study investigated the reactivity of individual antioxidants with free radicals generated by AIBN using cyclic voltammetry. The results yielded rate constants for radical formation and inhibition, defining antioxidant efficiency. The study ranked the antioxidants in terms of their efficiency and demonstrated the utility of cyclic voltammetry in investigating kinetic rates of antioxidant reactions with radicals.
