Biosynthesis and Biological Significances of LacdiNAc Group on N- and O-Glycans in Human Cancer Cells

Summary: An increasing number of studies have shown that the LacdiNAc group in glycoproteins is expressed in various mammalian cells and is closely associated with tumor progression or regression. The LacdiNAc group on glycans regulates protein functions, affecting the malignant properties of cancer cells. Restoring the expression of the LacdiNAc group can partially restore normal properties and suppress malignant phenotypes of cancer cells.
