Is Intermittent Control the Source of the Non-Linear Oscillatory Component (0.2-2Hz) in Human Balance Control?

Summary: This study aims to explain the 0.2-2Hz oscillation in human balance. It is found that short-term prediction is necessary for human balance control. Compared to non-predictive and intermittent-predictive control models, the predictive control model produces lower estimated delay and resonant frequency.
