Assessment of temporal and spatial progress of urban resilience in Guangzhou under rainstorm scenarios

Jieer Ruan et al.

Summary: The study found that the overall urban resilience level of Guangzhou is at a medium level, with a slight upward trend, while state resilience is showing a noticeable decline trend. Areas with high comprehensive resilience are mainly in the main urban area, while areas with weak comprehensive resilience are mainly in the new urban development area. Vegetation coverage, regional economic spatial stability, and average rainfall show the most significant decreasing trends.
