Effect of Different Wavelengths of Laser Irradiation on the Skin Cells

Aleksandra Cios et al.

Summary: The invention of systems enabling the emission of waves of a certain length and intensity has revolutionized many areas of life, including medicine. The use of devices emitting laser light is indispensable in many diagnostic procedures and has contributed to new techniques for treating difficult-to-heal diseases. However, excessive exposure to laser radiation in industry and medicine can lead to bodily injury, particularly to skin tissue. It is crucial to understand the effects of laser irradiation on dermal cells' metabolism for the treatment of various skin diseases.
