A Novel Method of Monitoring Surface Subsidence Law Based on Probability Integral Model Combined with Active and Passive Remote Sensing Data

Rui Wang et al.

Summary: The probability integral model was used to process deformation data obtained from UAV, DInSAR, and SBAS-InSAR to obtain a complete deformation field. The results showed that the subsidence basin gradually expanded along the mining direction as the working face advanced, reaching a maximum subsidence value of 2.780 m under supercritical conditions. The fusion of various remote sensing data was used to construct a high-precision subsidence basin.

Integration of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV)-based photogrammetry and InSAR for mining subsidence and parameters inversion: a case study of the Wangjiata Mine, China

Dawei Zhou et al.

Summary: This paper proposes a method to monitor surface mining subsidence basin (SMSB) by integrating unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) photogrammetry and interferometric synthetic aperture radar (InSAR) technology. The fusion of two types of data provides complete and high-precision SMSB monitoring. The method was applied to monitor the dynamic surface subsidence induced by mining activity in the Wangjiata coal mine in Inner Mongolia, China. The results demonstrate the accuracy and reliability of the method in monitoring geological environment damage caused by large-scale and high-intensity mining.

Application of UAV-based orthomosaics for determination of horizontal displacement caused by underground mining

Edyta Puniach et al.

Summary: Underground mining operations can cause displacements that may threaten building structures. Monitoring these displacements using aerial photogrammetry and high-resolution orthomosaics can automate the determination process and improve accuracy through outlier removal techniques.
