A high-performance humidity sensor based on alkalized MXenes and poly(dopamine) for touchless sensing and respiration monitoring

The successful application of the ZnO-Bi2O3 nanosheets on HCF also allows the sensor to distinguish exhaled breath from healthy individuals and simulated diabetic cases, paving the way for non-invasive, ultra-sensitive gas sensing at room temperature for early diabetes diagnosis.

Temperature and humidity sensor based on MEMS technology

Summary: This work presents a monolithically integrated temperature and humidity sensor based on microelectromechanical systems technology. The temperature sensor utilizes the bi-metallic effect with advantages of wide temperature range, high sensitivity, and fast detection, while the humidity sensor features a polyimide parallel plate capacitive structure with microporous array for high sensitivity and fast response. The numerical analysis and COMSOL simulation showed that the sensor has a temperature detection sensitivity of 0.2 mV/degrees C and humidity sensitivity of 0.405 pF/% RH with a response time of 34 s. The integrated sensor boasts small dimension, wide detection range, high precision, and fast response.
