The thermally drawn PLLA nanofiber yarns showed superior fibrous structure, enhanced crystallinity, and excellent mechanical performances, and promoted the adhesion, alignment, proliferation, and differentiation of human adipose derived mesenchymal stem cells compared to untreated PLLA nanofiber yarns. The nanofiber yarns were further processed into various tissue scaffolds with adjustable properties, demonstrating their potential for advanced biotextiles in surgical implant applications.
