Kinetic and Isotherm Study of As(III) Removal from Aqueous Solution by PET Track-Etched Membranes Loaded with Copper Microtubes

Alyona V. Russakova et al.

Summary: This paper reports on the synthesis and structure elucidation of track-etched membranes (TeMs) with electrolessly deposited copper microtubes, as well as on the comparative testing of arsenic (III) ion removal capacities. The study determined the adsorption kinetics and constants, as well as compared the applicability of different adsorption models. Results indicated that the Freundlich model described the experimental data on arsenic adsorption better than other models.
