Synthesis of silver nanoparticle (Ag NPs) using phytochemical rich medicinal plant Lonicera japonica for improve the cytotoxicity effect in cancer cells

Summary: This study synthesized silver nanoparticles with excellent antioxidant properties from the Chinese medicinal plant Lonicera japonica, and their morphology and spectroscopic evidence were determined. The results showed that the silver nanoparticles exhibited strong anti-cancer effects against lung cancer cells.
