The unique contribution of motor ability to visuospatial working memory in school-age children: Evidence from event-related potentials

Chih-Chien Lin et al.

Summary: This study investigated the unique contribution of motor ability to visuospatial working memory and neuroelectric activity in school-age children. The results showed that aerobic fitness was associated with reaction time variability, muscular fitness was associated with response accuracy, and motor ability was associated with response accuracy and P3 amplitude.

The P300 Auditory Event-Related Potential May Predict Segregation of Competing Speech by Bimodal Cochlear Implant Listeners

Duo-Duo Tao et al.

Summary: Compared to normal-hearing listeners, cochlear implant listeners have greater difficulty segregating competing speech. The P300 component of event-related potentials may serve as a clinically useful neural correlate of central auditory processing capabilities in bimodal cochlear implant patients.
