Twenty years of climate policy: G20 coverage and gaps

Leonardo Nascimento et al.

Summary: Despite an increase in the number and coverage of climate change mitigation policies over the past twenty years, significant policy adoption gaps exist, with half of key policy options not widely adopted. Adoption is particularly low for policies targeting coal and oil phase-outs, energy reductions, industrial emissions reductions, urban planning for retrofits, and renewable energy use in buildings. Policy gaps leave at least one-tenth of G20 emissions uncovered, highlighting the need to improve policy adoption to achieve global net zero greenhouse gas emissions.

Channel coordination and profit distribution in a three-echelon supply chain considering social responsibility and product returns

Neda Dabaghian et al.

Summary: This study presents a mathematical model for a three-echelon supply chain, considering the impact of return policies on profit and prices, as well as social responsibility and channel coordination. The results show that product quality is consistently higher in a coordinated state compared to a decentralized state, and customers benefit from higher earnings when returning goods in a coordinated basis.
