Changes and Characteristics of Green Infrastructure Network Based on Spatio-Temporal Priority

Summary: With the rapid urbanization, natural lands are being increasingly replaced by artificial impervious surfaces, causing severe damage to ecosystems. This study focuses on the optimization of Green Infrastructure networks in the main city zone of Hangzhou. Using morphological spatial pattern analysis, different landscape types and elements of Green Infrastructure were identified. The spatial priority of Green Infrastructure network elements was determined based on ecological importance and development vulnerability. The study found that the gradual construction and optimization of Green Infrastructure networks, guided by spatial prioritization, can help improve urban green spaces. Smart coordination between urban growth and ecological protection based on Green Infrastructure spatial prioritization can enhance urban living environments and promote sustainable urban development.
