A Portable Low-Voltage Low-Power ppm-Level Resistive Sensor Measurement System

Meraj Ahmad et al.

Summary: The paper presents a novel approach for the design of a portable, low-voltage low-power resistive sensor measurement system with high sensitivity. The proposed system utilizes a half-bridge based circuit for auto-calibrated resistive sensor interface, and reduces power consumption using square-wave excitation and demodulation. The system has the ability to measure Delta R/R-s for a wide range of baseline resistance with high resolution and programmable sensitivity. The results show that the developed system performs well in measuring minimum Delta R/R-s for different base resistors. The system is significant for low-voltage low-power sensor nodes and flexible hybrid electronics for wearable applications.

Enhanced Oxygen Vacancies in Ce-Doped SnO2 Nanofibers for Highly Efficient Soot Catalytic Combustion

Silun Zhu et al.

Summary: In this study, SnxCe1-xO2 composite oxide fiber catalysts were successfully prepared by the sol-gel method combined with electrospinning technology. The introduction of Ce improved the oxygen vacancies and redox ability of the catalyst, thereby promoting the catalytic activity for soot particles. Among them, the Sn0.7Ce0.3O2 fiber catalyst had the strongest catalytic oxidation ability and showed good cycle stability.

Selective Determination of Hydrogen Sulfide Using SnO2-Ag Sensor Working in Non-Stationary Temperature Regime

Alexey Shaposhnik et al.

Summary: By applying a non-stationary regime of temperature modulation in a metal oxide semiconductor sensor based on SnO2-Ag, there is a significant increase in sensor response and an improved selectivity towards hydrogen sulfide. The selectivity towards other reducing gases (CO, NH3, H-2) is about five orders of magnitude, allowing for a correct and selective determination of H2S in the presence of interfering gas components.
