Non-Contact Experiment Investigation of the Interaction between the Soil and Underground Granary Subjected to Water Buoyancy

Zhijun Xu et al.

Summary: This study explores the interaction between soil and underground granary under the influence of water buoyancy using digital image correlation and particle image velocity technologies. The experiment shows that the compaction degree of soil significantly affects the floating water level and displacement of the granary, thus playing a crucial role in its stability.
