Structural reliability of ultra high-performance fibre reinforced concrete beams in flexure

Summary: The study revealed a correlation between the yield stress of steel and the beam's section geometry with the model factors of ultra high-performance fibre reinforced concrete beams. Calibrated model factors showed reliability values in good agreement with target values for beams designed to ACI-318 and ACI-544 standards, while values for FHWA-HIF-13 standards were approximately 15% higher.

Numerical analysis on shear resistance of ultra-high performance concrete-normal strength concrete composite beam

Summary: This study used finite element analysis method combined with shear experiments to investigate the shear performance and interfacial zone effects of UHPC-NC composite beams. The results show that UHPC-NC composite beams can effectively improve the ultimate shear resistance and ductility, but the interfacial zone at the ultimate stage is a weak area that needs attention in structural design.
