Summary: The isolated strain of Mimosa pudica nodules exhibited high nematicidal activity against Nacobbus aberrans andHaemonchus contortus, as well as strong antifungal capabilities against various phytopathogenic fungi. Outbreak of acute larval cyathostominosis - A perfect storm of inflammation and dysbiosis

Summary: This study investigated clinicopathological and faecal microbiota changes associated with acute larval cyathostominosis outbreak in horses. It found that affected horses had decreased fecal microbiota diversity and specific bacterial abundance compared to clinically normal horses. These findings suggest a dysbiosis of the gut microbiota in association with acute larval cyathostominosis.

The effect of Haemonchus contortus and Trichostrongylus colubriforms infection on the ruminal microbiome of lambs

Summary: Infection with HC and TC parasites in lambs led to lower levels of total protein, albumin, urea, and butyrate, as well as decreased hemoglobin levels. Both parasite infections increased enteric methane emission and the diversity of functional microbial genes.
