Multipole polarizabilities and dipole oscillator strengths of H-atom in nonideal classical plasmas

K. D. Sen et al.

Summary: In this study, the energy eigenvalues and eigenfunctions of a spherically confined hydrogen atom embedded in nonideal classical plasma potential and the Debye-Huckel potential (DHP) were evaluated. The results showed that the nonideal classical plasma potential significantly influenced the multipole polarizabilities at low temperature and high electron density. However, as temperature increased or electron density decreased, the polarizabilities for both plasma potentials became almost equal. Additionally, the size of the enclosing spherical boundary was found to strongly affect the multipole polarizabilities.

Manipulating the orbital charge-currents of compressed Li and Na atom embedded in quantum plasma

Mustafa Kemal Bahar

Summary: In this study, the persistent orbital charge-currents and induced magnetic field of Li and Na atom compressed by spherical confinement in a quantum plasma are theoretically investigated. The interactions in the quantum plasma are described by the more general exponential cosine screened Coulomb potential. The modified potential within the framework of the model potential approach is used to overcome the computational difficulty arising from complex electron-electron interactions. The effects of plasma screening parameters and spherical confinement strength on the persistent charge-current and induced magnetic fields are studied in detail.

Ground and doubly excited states of He atom in non-ideal classical plasmas: structural, entanglement and information theoretical measures

Santanu Mondal et al.

Summary: The structural properties of the ground and first doubly excited resonance states of He atom in a non-ideal classical plasma (NICP) environment were studied, and it was found that NICP has a significant impact on the energy levels of the He atom, especially as the density increases. Additionally, NICP also affects the geometrical properties and charge distribution of the He atom.

Shannon entropy and Fisher information for endohedral confined one-and two-electron atoms

Cesar Martinez-Flores

Summary: In this study, the Shannon entropy and Fisher information of H, He, Li+, and Be2+ atoms confined by a C-60 cavity were investigated using numerical methods. The presence of the C-60 cavity was found to modify the electronic properties of the atoms, with significant effects on the ground- and excited-states of hydrogen and slight changes on the properties of two-electron atoms. The Gaussian model potential showed the largest impact on electronic properties due to the overlap with wave-functions.

Stability of the helium atom embedded in classical nonideal plasmas

Biswajit Das et al.

Summary: In this study, the properties of the ground state of the helium atom in classical nonideal plasmas were investigated using the variational method. A pseudopotential was used to describe the background plasma, and a detailed analysis was conducted on the changes in various quantities introduced by the varying nonideality of the plasma. The study emphasized the stability of the atom in the plasma by computing the critical values of screening parameter and nonideal parameter accurately, marking the first such research reported in the literature.

Plasma-embedded positronium atom with energy-dependent potential

Mustafa Kemal Bahar

Summary: This study investigates the positronium atom embedded in a plasma environment with energy-dependent potential interaction under spherical confinement. The effects of plasma shielding parameters, spherical encompassing effect, and energy dependence on the generation and control of orbital charge-currents and induced magnetic fields are examined. The study also includes analyses of transition energies, oscillator strengths, and dipole polarizability for energy dependence, as well as comparisons with energy-independent cases.

Variational Method for Hydrogen Atom Embedded in Non-ideal Classical Plasmas

Sujay Kr Nayek et al.

Summary: The energies, radial moments, and radial distributions of different bound states of hydrogen atom embedded in non-ideal plasma background were estimated using the variational method. The effect of non-ideality was studied by comparing the results with those obtained in an ideal classical plasma environment.

Electronic structure and dynamics of confined atoms

P. C. Deshmukh et al.

Summary: Confined atomic systems, particularly A@C-60, have attracted significant interest for their potential applications in science and technology. This manuscript reviews the electronic structure and dynamics of A@C-60 in the past decade, focusing on the effects of confinement on properties such as ionization potentials, atomic electron localization, and dynamical properties like confinement resonances and aligner time delay.
