Exact Solutions for Wall Jet Flow of Hybrid Nanofluid

Emad H. Aly et al.

Summary: This paper investigates the behavior of the hybrid nanofluid wall jet problem under the influence of thermal radiation, suction parameter, moving parameter, slip velocity, and temperature jumps. Analytical solutions are obtained for the velocity and temperature fields, and the effects of various parameters on the fluid behavior are analyzed. The results show that adding copper nanoparticles can significantly affect the velocity and temperature of the fluid, while suction and temperature jump parameters lead to a decrease in fluid temperature.

MHD slip flow of a Casson hybrid nanofluid over a stretching/shrinking sheet with thermal radiation

U. S. Mahabaleshwar et al.

Summary: This article investigates the non-Newtonian MHD flow and heat transfer of copper-alumina/water hybrid nanofluid due to permeable stretching/shrinking surface with a full slip model. The system of nonlinear partial differential equations was transformed to a system of ordinary differential equations. The impact of various physical parameters on velocity and temperature distributions were discussed, and it was found that the temperature distribution and thermal boundary layer increase with the increase of certain parameters. Additionally, the velocities and temperatures of the nanofluid and hybrid nanofluid behave differently in stretching and shrinking cases. The findings have potential industrial and technological applications.

Wall jet flow and heat transfer of a hybrid nanofluid subject to suction/injection with thermal radiation

Emad H. Aly et al.

Summary: This study investigates the 2 dimensional hybrid nanofluid flow in an incompressible wall jet, considering mass transpiration, heat transfer, and radiation effect. The study obtains a system of nonlinear ODEs through similarity transformations, and solves it numerically using MATLAB. The results show the velocity profiles and temperature distributions, indicating that an increase in nanoparticle volume fraction increases the velocity profile for suction and decreases the temperature distribution.

MHD Marangoni boundary layer problem for hybrid nanofluids with thermal radiation

Emad H. Aly et al.

Summary: The purpose of this paper is to study the flow of the Marangoni boundary layer on the surface embedded in a porous medium saturated by a hybrid nanofluid in the presence of a magnetic field and thermal radiation. By converting the governing model into ordinary differential equations and using Laplace transform, the influence of various parameters on the velocity profile and temperature distribution was investigated. The results show that the velocity and temperature are affected by parameters such as copper-nanoparticles volume fraction, magnetic field, injection, and radiation.

Convective Heat Transfer of a Hybrid Nanofluid over a Nonlinearly Stretching Surface with Radiation Effect

Emad H. Aly et al.

Summary: This study investigated the flow of hybrid nanofluid (copper-titanium dioxide/water) over a nonlinear stretching surface with suction and radiation effects. The governing equations were transformed into nonlinear ordinary differential equations and solved using a numerical technique. The results showed that the mass flux parameter slowed down velocity and decreased temperature, while increasing the stretching parameter led to opposite effects on velocity and temperature. Additionally, the radiation parameter was found to control the thermal boundary layer effectively, and increasing the temperature parameter resulted in decreased temperature.
