Enhancement in dielectric and optical properties of Al doped ZnO/ reduced graphene oxide nanocomposite

Ravi Kant et al.

Summary: In this study, Al-doped ZnO/reduced graphene oxide nanocomposite was produced by the chemical method. The XRD analysis confirmed the structural characteristics of rGO and Al-doped ZnO. The FESEM images displayed the morphology of the nanocomposite, showing the dispersion of Al-doped ZnO nanoparticles on the rGO sheet. Further investigations were conducted on the optical and dielectric properties, revealing improvements in the dielectric constant and electrical conductivity of the nanocomposite.

The structural and dilute magnetic properties of (Co, Li) co-doped-ZnO semiconductor nanoparticles

Rajwali Khan et al.

Summary: The (Co, Li) co-doped-ZnO nanoparticles exhibit strong dependence behavior in terms of dielectric and magnetic properties. The dielectric constant and dielectric loss decrease with an increase in Li co-dopant concentration, while the ac electrical conductivity increases. The highest ferromagnetic behavior is observed in the 4% Li-co-doped sample. Compared to previous studies, the co-doped specimens demonstrate excellent dielectric, magnetic, and electrical conductivities, making them suitable for high-frequency and spintronic-based devices.

Structural, electrical and optical properties of MgO-reduced graphene oxide nanocomposite for optoelectronic applications

Ravi Kant et al.

Summary: MgO-reduced graphene oxide nanocomposites were synthesized by a simple two-step chemical method, with detailed analysis on their microstructure and performance. The addition of rGO was found to significantly enhance the electrical properties of the composites, mainly due to the strong interfacial polarization between MgO and rGO.

Oxygen vacancies induced variations in structural, optical and dielectric properties of SnO2/graphite nanocomposite

Zulfiqar et al.

Summary: The research found that the SnO2/graphite nanocomposite prepared by growing SnO2 nanoparticles on graphite sheets exhibited enhanced dielectric behavior due to an increase in oxygen vacancies. The SG nanocomposite showed reversible redox processes with low resistance, voltage drop, and high capacitance. The variations in dielectric properties were attributed to the increased oxygen vacancies and introduction of conductive carbon.

Oxygen vacancies induced room temperature ferromagnetism and enhanced dielectric properties in Co and Mn co-doped ZnO nanoparticles

Zulfiqar et al.

Summary: The study found that the quantity of oxygen vacancies significantly influences the structure and properties of co-doped ZnO nanoparticles, increasing with dopant concentration. Furthermore, there is a strong correlation between oxygen vacancies and the enhanced dielectric and magnetization responses of Co (fixed) and Mn (varied) co-doped ZnO nanoparticles, making them suitable for spintronics and optoelectronic applications.

Dielectric and ferromagnetic properties of (Ni, Co) co-doped SnO2 nanoparticles

Zulfiqar et al.

Summary: Different nanoparticles (NPs) were prepared using the co-precipitation route, with Co and Ni incorporated into the SnO2 matrix. The XRD data showed a reduction in crystallite size and an increase in oxygen vacancies concentration with higher Co content. The dielectric properties were strongly influenced by doping, with S4 NPs exhibiting the highest values for dielectric loss factor and AC conductivity.

Effect of Sn-doping on the structural, optical, dielectric and magnetic properties of ZnO nanoparticles for spintronics applications

Rajwali Khan et al.

Summary: The paper focused on investigating the structure, dielectric, and magnetic characteristics of Sn-ZnO nanopowder synthesized by the co-precipitation technique. It aimed to obtain material with low dielectric constant, high electrical conductivity, and magnetism. Experimental results showed that 4% Sn-ZnO became ferromagnetic and exhibited excellent magnetic properties, with potential applications in high-frequency devices, gas sensors, spintronics, and optoelectronics.

Structure and magnetic properties of (Co, Ce) co-doped ZnO-based diluted magnetic semiconductor nanoparticles

Rajwali Khan et al.

Summary: In this study, various ZnO nanoparticles with different co-dopants were successfully fabricated and their room-temperature structure and magnetic properties were investigated. The increase in co-dopant concentration was found to result in larger average grain size in the samples. Co and Ce co-doping induced ferromagnetism in the samples, likely due to the generation of oxygen vacancies and F-centers.
