A fuzzy rule-based industry 4.0 maturity model for operations and supply chain management

Rodrigo Goyannes Gusmao Caiado et al.

Summary: Industry 4.0 aims to integrate disruptive technologies with manufacturing systems, and maturity models are valuable methodologies to track the progress of these initiatives. However, there is a lack of empirical work on the development of I4.0 maturity models specific to supply chain management. This study develops a fuzzy logic-based I4.0 maturity model for OSCM, validated through a real application in a multinational manufacturing organization, providing a practical diagnostic tool for measuring digital readiness in manufacturing industries.

Asynchronous Feedback Control for Delayed Fuzzy Degenerate Jump Systems Under Observer-Based Event-Driven Characteristic

Guangming Zhuang et al.

Summary: This article investigates asynchronous feedback control for fuzzy degenerate jump systems with mode-dependent time-varying delays via Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy control technique under observer-based event-driven characteristic. The asynchronous fuzzy feedback controller is designed using parallel distributed compensation technique, with the modes of the fuzzy controller running asynchronously with that of the original degenerate fuzzy jump systems. The triggering threshold is based on an exponentially decreasing function to ensure the admissibility of the delayed fuzzy degenerate jump systems and the effectiveness of the event-driven strategy.

Asynchronous Filtering for Delayed Fuzzy Jump Systems Subject to Mixed Passivity and H∞ Performance

Guowei Zhao et al.

Summary: This paper investigates asynchronous mixed passivity and H-infinity filter design for fuzzy jump systems with time-varying delays. Firstly, new time delay-dependent stability conditions for the fuzzy Markovian jump systems are obtained by constructing a mode-dependent Lyapunov functional and introducing free weight matrices technique. Secondly, the asynchronous filter is designed via linear matrix inequalities, which can ensure stochastic stability and the mixed passivity and H-infinity performance of the augmented Markovian jump filtering error system.
