The efficacy of acetylsalicylic acid, spermidine and calcium preharvest foliar spray applications on yield efficiency, incidence of physiological disorders and shelf-life performance of loquat fruit

M. Hadjipieri et al.

Summary: The study found that acetylsalicylic acid is an effective treatment for improving the quality properties of loquat fruit. However, spermidine application alone or in combination with acetylsalicylic acid did not show any beneficial or synergistic effects. Foliar applications did not have a significant impact on fruit growth and yield efficiency.
